Bidirectional Shift Register 74194

The Bidirectional Shift Register 74194 is a 4-bit universal shift register from the 74-series logic family. Two mode inputs let it hold its data, shift left, shift right or load all four bits in parallel on each clock edge, which makes it a classic chip for digital electronics labs, LED chasers and serial-to-parallel conversion.
