Bluetooth Module HC-06 (4-pin)

The Bluetooth Module HC-06 adds wireless serial communication to Arduino and other microcontroller projects using classic Bluetooth (SPP). It connects to the TX and RX pins of your board and acts like a wireless serial cable to an Android phone, tablet or PC. The HC-06 works as a slave device only, which keeps it simple: pair it from your phone and start sending data.

Tip: Connect the module TXD to the Arduino RX and RXD to TX. The RXD pin uses 3.3 V logic, so use a voltage divider such as 1 kΩ and 2 kΩ from a 5 V TX pin. The HC-06 uses classic Bluetooth, so it pairs with Android phones and PCs but not with iPhones.
