Ethernet W5100 R3 Ethernet & SD Shield

The Ethernet W5100 R3 Ethernet & SD shield connects an Arduino UNO or Mega to a wired network with a standard RJ45 cable. It uses the WIZnet W5100 chip, which handles the TCP/IP stack in hardware, and adds a micro SD card slot for storing web pages, logs or files. It works with the standard Arduino Ethernet library, so web servers and network clients take only a few lines of code.

Tip: The Ethernet chip and the SD card share the SPI bus. If you use only the Ethernet part, set pin 4 as an output and HIGH to disable the SD card; if you use only the SD card, do the same with pin 10.
