Heat Shrink Set Colored

The Heat Shrink Set Colored is a set of heat shrink tubing in several colours for insulating and protecting electrical connections. Slide a piece over a soldered joint or crimp, warm it with a heat gun, and the tube shrinks tightly around the wires to cover bare metal, add strain relief and keep the job neat. The different colours make it easy to mark positive, negative and signal wires.

Tip: Choose a tube that slides easily over the widest part of the joint, and slide it onto the wire before you solder. Keep it away from the hot joint until it cools, then shrink it with a heat gun rather than a lighter for an even, clean finish.
