Mosfet Transistor IRLZ34N

The Mosfet Transistor IRLZ34N is a logic-level N-channel power MOSFET in a TO-220 package, rated 55 V and 30 A. Because it switches on well with a gate voltage of 4–5 V, it can be driven directly from an Arduino output pin to control motors, LED strips, solenoids and other DC loads.

Tip: Use it as a low-side switch: source to ground, load between the drain and the positive supply. Add a 100–220 Ω gate resistor, a 10 kΩ pull-down from gate to source and a flyback diode across motors and solenoids, and fit a heat sink at high currents.
