ISD1820 Recording Module Voice Board with Mic

The ISD1820 Recording Module is a voice record and playback board with a built-in microphone. Press the record button to store a short message, then play it back through a small speaker with a button press or a signal from an Arduino or ESP32. The recording is kept in the chip's non-volatile memory, so it stays saved when the power is off, which makes the module handy for talking toys, doorbells and spoken alerts.

Tip: Connect an 8 Ω speaker to the speaker pins before testing. To control it from a microcontroller, take REC or PLAYE high from a digital pin, and hold REC high for the whole message while speaking clearly near the microphone.
