Magic Cup Light Module

The Magic Cup Light Module combines a tilt switch and an LED on one small board. Used in pairs with an Arduino, it creates the magic light cup effect: when you tilt one module towards the other, as if pouring a drink, the light appears to flow from one LED to the other. It is a fun way to learn about tilt sensing, digital inputs and PWM brightness control.

What's in the Box

Tip: You need two modules for the pouring effect: read both S pins and fade the LEDs up and down with PWM pins, using a series resistor of about 220 Ω on the L line at 5 V. Some versions use a glass mercury tilt switch, so handle the board gently and never break the switch.
