MP135 Air Pollution Gas Sensor DIP-4

The MP135 Air Pollution Gas Sensor is a flat-surface semiconductor gas sensor in a 4-pin DIP package, made for detecting indoor air pollutants. Its metal-oxide sensing layer changes resistance when gases such as hydrogen, alcohol vapour and carbon monoxide are present, so it suits air purifiers, fresh-air systems and indoor air quality monitors.

Tip: This is a bare sensor: connect a load resistor in series with the sensing element and read the voltage across it with an analog input. Let the heater warm up before taking readings, set your clean-air reference in a well-ventilated room, and remember that the sensor gets hot in use.
