OP Amp 4.5MHZ CA3240

The OP Amp 4.5MHZ CA3240 is a dual BiMOS operational amplifier that combines MOSFET inputs with a bipolar output stage. It is the dual version of the CA3140, with a 4.5 MHz gain-bandwidth product, very high input impedance, input currents in the picoamp range and an input range that reaches below the negative supply. That makes it a good fit for sensor buffers, timers, sample-and-hold circuits and single-supply designs.

Tip: The MOSFET inputs are sensitive to static, so handle the chip by its body and keep it in conductive foam until it is fitted. Do not drive the inputs beyond the supply rails, and if you use only one amplifier, wire the second as a voltage follower tied to a fixed voltage so it does not oscillate.
