0.56 inch Red 1 Digit 7 Segment LED Display CA

The 0.56 inch Red 1 Digit 7 Segment LED Display CA is a single-digit red display with seven segments and a decimal point, in a common anode (CA) configuration. All the segment anodes are joined to the common pins, which go to the positive supply, and each segment lights when its pin is pulled LOW through a resistor. It is a simple way to show numbers in counters, timers and Arduino projects, and it pairs directly with the 7447 BCD decoder.

Tip: Connect the common pins to 5 V and drive each segment through its own 220–330 Ω resistor; a segment lights when its pin is LOW. With an Arduino this means writing LOW to turn a segment on, the opposite of a common cathode display.
