0.56 inch Red 1 Digit 7 Segment LED Display CC

The 0.56 inch Red 1 Digit 7 Segment LED Display CC is a single-digit red display with seven segments and a decimal point, in a common cathode (CC) configuration. All the segment cathodes are joined to the common pins, which go to ground, and each segment lights when its pin is driven HIGH through a resistor. It is a simple way to show numbers in counters, timers and Arduino projects.

Tip: Connect the common pins to GND and drive each segment through its own 220–330 Ω resistor at 5 V; a single shared resistor on the common pin makes the brightness change with the number shown. You can find each segment quickly with a multimeter in diode test mode.
