The Ceramic Capacitor (101) 100pF pack contains five non-polarised ceramic capacitors with a capacitance of 100 pF and a voltage rating of 100 V. The code 101 means 10 followed by one zero, in picofarads, so a part marked 101 is 100 pF (a part marked 100 is only 10 pF). Tip: Ceramic capacitors have no polarity, so they can be fitted either way round. With a 10 kΩ resistor, 100 pF forms a low-pass filter with a cut-off of about 159 kHz, which passes audio but blocks radio-frequency interference.
