Tip: Ceramic capacitors have no polarity, so they can be fitted either way round. Keep the working voltage well below 100 V and never use them across mains lines, which need safety-rated X or Y capacitors. With a 10 kΩ resistor, 2.2 nF gives an RC low-pass cut-off of about 7.2 kHz.
