Tip: Ceramic capacitors have no polarity, so they can be fitted either way round. In a 555 astable circuit with R1 = R2 = 10 kΩ, this 22 nF capacitor gives roughly 2.2 kHz, using f ≈ 1.44 / ((R1 + 2 × R2) × C).
