40 Bit Neopixel WS2812 RGB LED Ring 5V

The 40 Bit Neopixel WS2812 RGB LED Ring 5V has 40 individually addressable WS2812 RGB LEDs on a round board. A single data wire from an Arduino, ESP32 or Raspberry Pi sets the colour and brightness of each LED, and the data-out connection lets you chain it with other WS2812 rings, strips or matrices to build larger effects.

Tip: Budget about 60 mA per LED at full white, so a 5 V 3 A supply covers the ring with some margin. Add a 330 Ω resistor in series with the data input and a large capacitor, around 1000 µF, across the power pads to protect the first LED.
