Description

The 433Mhz RF Wireless transmitter and receiver kit is a low-cost pair of radio boards for sending simple data one way between two circuits. The transmitter board sends ASK (amplitude shift keying) signals on 433 MHz, and the receiver board picks them up and outputs the digital data, so an Arduino or ESP32 can send commands, sensor readings or remote control codes without wires.

433Mhz RF Wireless Transmitter and Receiver Kit Specifications

  • Frequency: 433 MHz
  • Modulation: ASK / OOK
  • Transmitter supply: 3 V to 12 V (a higher voltage gives more range)
  • Receiver supply: 5 V DC
  • Transmitter pins: DATA, VCC and GND
  • Receiver pins: VCC, DATA (2 joined pins) and GND
  • Link type: one-way (simplex), from transmitter to receiver

433Mhz RF Wireless Transmitter and Receiver Kit Applications

  • Wireless remote controls for lights, relays and motors
  • Sending sensor readings from one Arduino board to another
  • Simple wireless doorbells and alarm triggers
  • Receiving codes from simple 433 MHz remotes and sockets with the rc-switch library
  • Learning radio communication in STEM classes

What's in the Box

  • 1 × 433 MHz transmitter board
  • 1 × 433 MHz receiver board

Tip: Solder a straight wire of about 17 cm, a quarter wavelength at 433 MHz, to the ANT pad on both boards; the range improves a lot compared with no antenna. For sending data between two Arduinos, use the RadioHead library with its RH_ASK driver and keep messages short.
