8 Channel Relay Module without light coupling 5V

The 8 Channel Relay Module is a 5 V relay board with eight independent relays, letting one microcontroller switch up to eight separate circuits. This version is without light coupling, meaning it has no optocouplers: each control input drives its relay through a transistor on the board. It is a compact way to control several lamps, fans, pumps or valves from an Arduino.

Tip: With several relays on at once the board draws more current than an Arduino's 5 V pin should supply, so power it from a separate 5 V supply of at least 1 A and connect its ground to the Arduino ground. Take great care with mains voltage: disconnect power before wiring and keep the high-voltage side covered.
