ABS Filament - BLUE

The ABS Filament - BLUE is blue ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) filament for FDM 3D printers. ABS is tougher and more heat resistant than PLA, which makes it a good material for functional parts such as enclosures, brackets and gears that have to take knocks, load or warmth. Printed parts can be sanded, drilled and acetone-smoothed, and the blue colour gives cases and robot parts a clean, distinctive look.

Tip: Print ABS in an enclosure or a draught-free room with a heated bed so parts do not warp or crack as they cool. Ventilate the room because hot ABS gives off fumes, and keep the spool sealed with desiccant between prints.
