Description

The Arduino MKR Wifi 1010 is an official Arduino board for IoT projects, combining a SAMD21 Cortex-M0+ microcontroller with a u-blox NINA-W102 module for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. A crypto chip helps keep connections secure, and a built-in Li-Po charger lets it run from a battery. It comes with a USB cable so you can start programming straight away.

Arduino MKR Wifi 1010 Specifications

  • Microcontroller: SAMD21 Cortex-M0+ 32-bit, 48 MHz
  • Wireless: u-blox NINA-W102 (ESP32-based), 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
  • Security: Microchip ECC508 crypto chip
  • Operating voltage: 3.3 V
  • Power: 5 V via micro USB or VIN, or a single-cell 3.7 V Li-Po battery
  • I/O: 8 digital pins, 13 PWM pins, 7 analog inputs, 1 DAC output
  • Interfaces: UART, SPI and I2C
  • Memory: 256 KB flash, 32 KB SRAM
  • Size: 61.5 × 25 mm

Arduino MKR Wifi 1010 Applications

  • IoT sensors that send data to the Arduino Cloud or an MQTT broker
  • Battery-powered remote monitoring
  • Smart home and Wi-Fi controlled devices
  • Bluetooth Low Energy projects
  • University and school IoT courses

What's in the Box

  • 1 × Arduino MKR WiFi 1010 board
  • 1 × USB cable

Tip: The board runs at 3.3 V and its pins are not 5 V tolerant, so never connect 5 V signals directly. Install the Arduino SAMD Boards package and the WiFiNINA library in the Arduino IDE before uploading your first sketch.
