Description
The ATTINY85 USB Development Board is a very small microcontroller board based on the ATtiny85, in the popular Digispark style. It connects to a computer by USB for both power and programming, runs sketches written in the Arduino IDE, and is ideal for compact projects where a full Arduino would be too big, such as USB keyboard shortcuts, LED effects, small timers and simple sensors.
ATTINY85 USB Development Board Specifications
- Microcontroller: ATtiny85, 8-bit AVR
- Flash memory: 8 KB (about 6 KB free after the USB bootloader)
- SRAM / EEPROM: 512 bytes each
- I/O pins: 6 (P0–P5); 2 are shared with USB when the sketch uses USB
- PWM: 3 pins
- Analog inputs: 4 pins
- Programming: over USB with the Micronucleus bootloader
ATTINY85 USB Development Board Applications
- USB HID projects that act as a keyboard or mouse
- Compact LED, NeoPixel and buzzer controllers
- Small sensor nodes, timers and switches
- Learning microcontrollers on a low budget
What's in the Box
- 1 × ATtiny85 USB development board
Tip: Install the Digistump (Digispark) board package and USB driver first. Click Upload with the board unplugged and plug it in when the IDE asks; after power-up the bootloader waits about 5 seconds before starting your sketch.
