Brass Coupler (2-3.17mm)

The Brass Coupler (2-3.17mm) is a small rigid shaft coupler made of brass with a 2 mm bore on one end and a 3.17 mm (1/8 in) bore on the other. It connects a small motor with a 2 mm shaft to a 1/8 in drive shaft, axle or pulley, with screws on each side clamping the shafts in place. Tip: Rigid couplers need the two shafts to be well aligned, otherwise the motor bearings wear and the drive vibrates; switch to a flexible coupler if alignment is difficult. Tighten the screws onto the flat of the shaft if there is one, gently on the thin 2 mm side.
