Brass Coupler (2-3mm)

The Brass Coupler (2-3mm) is a compact rigid shaft coupler with a 2 mm bore on one end and a 3 mm bore on the other. It lets you join two shafts of different sizes on the same axis, for example a micro motor shaft to a 3 mm rod that carries a gear, pulley or wheel. Brass is strong for its size, easy to machine and does not rust, so it is widely used in models, toys and small robots.

Tip: Push each shaft fully into its bore and tighten the set screws evenly. A drop of thread locker on the screws helps stop them loosening from motor vibration.
