Ceramic Capacitor 1uF 1000nF 630V

The Ceramic Capacitor 1uF 1000nF 630V is a non-polarised capacitor with a capacitance of 1 µF (1000 nF) and a high voltage rating of 630 V. It suits circuits where ordinary 50 V ceramic capacitors are not enough, such as filtering and decoupling on high-voltage DC rails, snubber networks across switches and relays, and DC blocking in high-voltage stages.

Tip: A charged 630 V capacitor can give a dangerous shock, so discharge it through a resistor before touching it. Choose a rating well above the highest voltage in your circuit, and do not connect it directly across the AC mains, where an X2 safety-rated capacitor is required.
