CR-Scan Ferret Pro

The CR-Scan Ferret Pro is a handheld 3D scanner from Creality's CR-Scan range. Move it around an object and it captures the shape, together with its colour texture, as a 3D model that you can clean up, measure and send to a 3D printer. It is aimed at makers, designers and engineers who want to copy, repair or reverse-engineer real parts without drawing them from scratch in CAD.

Tip: Scan in even, soft lighting and move the scanner slowly at a steady distance from the object. Shiny, black or transparent surfaces are hard for optical scanners, so a light coat of scanning spray or matte powder helps you get a complete model.
