Description
The DC 12V Cabinet Door Lock is a compact electric lock assembly driven by a 12 V solenoid. A spring-loaded latch holds the cabinet door or drawer closed, and applying 12 V DC pulls the latch in so the door can be opened. Paired with a relay or MOSFET, it lets an Arduino, ESP32, keypad or RFID reader control access to cabinets, lockers, drawers and smart boxes.

Tip: Switch the lock through a relay or a logic-level MOSFET with a flyback diode (for example a 1N4007) across the coil; never connect it straight to a microcontroller pin. Energise it only for a few seconds at a time to unlock, because solenoid locks are not made to stay powered continuously and can overheat.
