The Electrolytic Capacitor (100V) 22uF is a polarised aluminium electrolytic capacitor with a capacitance of 22 µF and a 100 V voltage rating, sold in a pack of 5. The high voltage rating leaves a generous safety margin in 12 V, 24 V and 48 V circuits and in power supplies where voltage spikes are common.

Tip: Observe the polarity: the lead next to the stripe is negative (–) and is usually the shorter one. Fitting the capacitor backwards or going over 100 V can make it bulge, leak or burst.
