Electrolytic Capacitor (100V) 47uF (5pcs)

The Electrolytic Capacitor (100V) 47uF pack contains five polarized electrolytic capacitors with a capacitance of 47 µF and a 100 V voltage rating. The high voltage rating gives a good safety margin in 24 V, 48 V and other higher-voltage DC circuits, where they smooth supply ripple, decouple power rails and couple signals between stages.

Tip: Electrolytic capacitors are polarized: connect the negative lead, marked by the stripe, to the lower voltage. Reversing one or going above 100 V can make it bulge or burst. For long life, keep the working voltage at about 80% of the rating or less.
