Electrolytic Capacitor (25V) 1uF (5pcs)

The Electrolytic Capacitor (25V) 1uF pack contains five polarised electrolytic capacitors with a capacitance of 1 µF and a voltage rating of 25 V. These small through-hole capacitors are used for coupling audio and sensor signals between stages, local decoupling, and RC timing and filter circuits, and the 25 V rating suits 3.3 V, 5 V and 12 V projects.

Tip: Electrolytic capacitors are polarised: connect the positive (longer) lead to the higher voltage and never reverse it, or the capacitor can overheat and fail. Keep the voltage below 25 V; in 24 V circuits choose a 35 V or 50 V capacitor for a safer margin.
