The Electrolytic Capacitor (50V) 0.47uF is a small polarised electrolytic capacitor with a capacitance of 0.47 µF (470 nF) and a 50 V rating, sold in a pack of 5. Tip: Electrolytic capacitors are polarised: connect the longer lead (+) to the higher voltage and the striped lead (−) to ground. For decoupling IC power pins, a non-polarised 100 nF (104) ceramic capacitor is usually the better choice because it works better at high frequencies.
