Electrolytic Capacitor (50V) 5pcs 47uF (5pcs)

The Electrolytic Capacitor (50V) 5pcs 47uF pack contains five polarised electrolytic capacitors with a capacitance of 47 µF and a voltage rating of 50 V. These through-hole capacitors are used to smooth power supply rails, stabilise voltage regulators and couple audio signals, and the 50 V rating leaves plenty of margin for 5 V, 12 V and 24 V circuits.

Tip: Electrolytic capacitors are polarised: connect the positive (longer) lead to the higher voltage and never reverse it, or the capacitor can overheat and fail. Keep the voltage across it below the 50 V rating.
