Electrolytic Capacitor(63V) 1000uF

The Electrolytic Capacitor(63V) 1000uF is a single aluminium electrolytic capacitor with a capacitance of 1000 µF and a maximum working voltage of 63 V. The large capacitance and high voltage rating make it suitable for smoothing rectified DC, holding energy for current peaks from motors and amplifiers, and decoupling supply rails in 24 V, 36 V and 48 V projects.

Tip: Electrolytic capacitors are polarised: connect the striped (negative) lead to the lower voltage side, as reversing it can make the capacitor fail. Leave a safety margin by using it in circuits up to about 50 V, and discharge it through a resistor before handling, since at 63 V it stores about 2 J.
