Silicone Wire 10 AWG (Red)

The Silicone Wire 10 AWG in red is a thick, very flexible power wire with silicone insulation, made for high-current connections. Silicone stays soft and bendable and handles much higher temperatures than standard PVC insulation, so it is the wire of choice for battery leads, ESC and motor connections in RC models and drones, solar systems and other DC power wiring.

Tip: Use red for positive and black for negative so polarity is easy to check. Solder 10 AWG wire with a hot, high-power iron and plenty of flux, cover every joint with heat-shrink tubing, and use connectors rated for the current, such as XT90.
