Flexible Coupler D19L25(3*5MM HOLE)

The Flexible Coupler D19L25(3*5MM HOLE) is a flexible shaft coupling with a 19 mm outer diameter and a 25 mm length, with a 3 mm bore at one end and a 5 mm bore at the other. It joins two shafts of different sizes, for example a small motor with a 3 mm shaft to a 5 mm rod, or a 5 mm NEMA 17 stepper shaft to a 3 mm lead screw or encoder shaft. The flexible body takes up small misalignment between the shafts and damps vibration, so the bearings last longer and the drive runs more smoothly.

Tip: Check which end has the 3 mm bore, slide both shafts in until they almost meet in the middle, then tighten the screws, onto the flat of a D-shaped shaft if it has one. Line the two shafts up as closely as you can; the coupler is made to absorb only small misalignment.
