Hakko FR-301 De-soldering gun

The Hakko FR-301 De-soldering gun is a portable desoldering tool from Hakko with the heater and vacuum pump built into one pistol-grip unit. Heat the joint with the hollow nozzle, pull the trigger and the molten solder is sucked into the tool, leaving the component lead and the plated hole free. Tip: Choose a nozzle slightly larger than the component lead and hold it on the joint until all the solder has melted, moving the lead gently in a small circle, then pull the trigger. Empty the solder collection chamber and clean or replace the filter regularly so the suction stays strong.
