Heat Shrink Roll 200m d: 4mm, Color: Red

The Heat Shrink Roll 200m d: 4mm is red heat shrink tubing with a 4 mm diameter, supplied from a 200 m roll. Cut a piece, slide it over a solder joint or wire splice and warm it with a heat gun: it shrinks tightly around the wires to insulate and protect them. The red colour is handy for marking positive (+) power wires, and the 4 mm size suits hookup wire, jumper wires and thin power and sensor cables.

Tip: Slide the tubing onto the wire before you solder, and cut each piece about 1 cm longer than the bare area. Heat it evenly with a heat gun instead of an open flame so it shrinks smoothly without burning, and pick a larger size for thick cables or connectors.
