IR Remote Control (No Battery)

The IR Remote Control is a small handheld infrared remote for controlling Arduino, ESP32 and other microcontroller projects from across the room. Each key sends its own code on a 38 kHz infrared carrier, which an IR receiver such as the VS1838B picks up and your sketch turns into actions. It is supplied without a battery.

Tip: Check the battery compartment for the battery size before buying one; most small remotes of this type take a CR2025 coin cell. Then install the IRremote library, upload its receive example and open the Serial Monitor to read the code each button sends.
