Logic Level Converter Sparkfun BOB-12009

The Logic Level Converter Sparkfun BOB-12009 is a small bi-directional level shifter that lets 5 V and 3.3 V devices talk to each other safely. It has four channels, each built from a BSS138 MOSFET with 10 kΩ pull-up resistors on both sides, so signals can pass in either direction on the same line. It is the easy way to connect a 5 V Arduino to 3.3 V sensors, or an ESP32 or Raspberry Pi to 5 V modules.

Tip: Connect HV to the 5 V supply, LV to the 3.3 V supply and join the grounds of both systems; the board needs both reference voltages to work. It only shifts signals and cannot power a device.
