Rectifier Bridge RB152 2A 100V

The Rectifier Bridge RB152 is a single-phase full-wave bridge rectifier rated at 100 V peak reverse voltage. It contains four diodes in one compact round package with four leads, and converts AC from a low-voltage transformer into pulsating DC that a capacitor and regulator can then smooth. The RB152 belongs to the RB15x series, which is rated for 1.5 A average output current.

Tip: Two diodes conduct at any time, so the DC output is about 2 V lower than the AC peak voltage (peak = RMS × 1.41). Add a smoothing capacitor after the bridge, keep the load below 1.5 A, and choose a higher-current bridge if your circuit needs a full 2 A.
