Rectifier Bridge RB154 1.5A 400V

The Rectifier Bridge RB154 is a single-phase full-wave bridge rectifier rated at 1.5 A and 400 V. It contains four diodes in one compact round package with four leads, and converts AC from a transformer into pulsating DC that a capacitor and regulator can then smooth. It is a simple, space-saving part for small power supplies, chargers and repair work.

Tip: Two diodes conduct at any time, so the DC output is about 2 V lower than the AC peak voltage (peak = RMS × 1.41). Add a smoothing capacitor after the bridge and keep the load current below 1.5 A.
