Rectifier Bridge W04M 400V 1.5A

The Rectifier Bridge W04M 400V 1.5A is a single-phase full-wave bridge rectifier rated at 1.5 A and 400 V in a small round WOM package with four wire leads. It converts the AC from a transformer into DC in a single part, and its 400 V rating gives plenty of margin for transformer secondaries and 110–120 V AC lines, which makes it a popular choice for linear power supplies, chargers and repairs.

Tip: For 230 V mains, which peaks at about 325 V, a W06M or higher-voltage bridge gives a safer margin against spikes. Connect the two ~ leads to the AC source, take DC from + and −, and keep the load below 1.5 A.
