RF Link Transmitter Sparkfun WRL-10534 433Mhz

The RF Link Transmitter SparkFun WRL-10534 is a simple 433 MHz band (434 MHz) radio transmitter that sends data one way to a matching receiver. Feed serial data into its data pin and it is sent over the air at up to 4800 bps, with a range of up to about 150 m (500 ft) in ideal conditions. It is a low-cost way to add wireless remote control or sensor readings to Arduino projects.

Tip: Solder a wire antenna of about 17 cm (a quarter wavelength at 434 MHz) to the antenna pin to improve range. These modules have no addressing and pick up noise, so use a library such as RadioHead (RH_ASK) that adds a preamble and checksum.
