Description
The Solder Wire 1mm 63% is a 1 mm tin-lead solder wire made of 63% tin and 37% lead (Sn63/Pb37). This eutectic alloy melts at a single temperature of 183 °C, so it flows quickly and sets cleanly into bright, reliable joints. The 1 mm diameter delivers plenty of solder at once, which makes it a good choice for through-hole parts, thick wires, connectors and general repair work.
Solder Wire 1mm 63% Specifications
- Alloy: Sn63/Pb37 (63% tin, 37% lead)
- Melting point: 183 °C (eutectic)
- Diameter: 1 mm
- Use: electronics soldering with a soldering iron or station
Solder Wire 1mm 63% Applications

What's in the Box
- 1 × pack of 1 mm Sn63/Pb37 solder wire
Tip: Heat the pad and the lead together with a clean, tinned tip, then feed the solder into the joint, not onto the iron. For fine SMD work choose a thinner wire such as 0.5 mm. This solder contains lead, so work in a ventilated area and wash your hands after soldering.
