Soldering Iron 60W

The Soldering Iron 60W is an electric hand soldering iron with a 60 W heating element for electronics work and general repairs. The higher power helps the tip recover its heat quickly, so it handles thick wires, connectors, terminals and larger joints better than low-power irons, while still working well on through-hole components on a PCB.

Tip: Tin the new tip with a little solder as soon as the iron first heats up, and keep it clean on a damp sponge or brass wool so it keeps transferring heat well. Always rest the hot iron in a stand and unplug it when you finish, because the tip stays hot for several minutes after switching off.
