Square Tactile switch + Square Cap 5 PCS Green

A tactile switch closes its contacts with a light click while you hold it down and opens again when you let go, which is the standard behaviour for user buttons on Arduino, ESP32 and Raspberry Pi projects. The green caps also help you mark buttons by function, such as start or OK.

Tip: Most square tactile switches have 4 legs joined in pairs, so find the switching pair with a multimeter before wiring. Connect one side to a GPIO pin and the other to GND, enable INPUT_PULLUP, and add a software debounce of about 20–50 ms. Push the caps straight onto the switch stem so it does not bend.
