Thermistor 302J 3K Ohm

The Thermistor 302J 3K Ohm is a temperature-sensitive resistor with a nominal resistance of 3 kΩ at 25 °C. The marking 302 means 30 × 10² Ω (3 kΩ) and the letter J means a ±5% tolerance. Its resistance drops as the temperature rises (NTC), so with a simple voltage divider and an analog input you can measure temperature with an Arduino or ESP32.

Tip: Wire the thermistor in series with a 3 kΩ fixed resistor between 3.3 V or 5 V and GND, and read the midpoint with an analog pin. Convert the reading with the Beta equation using the B value from the datasheet, or calibrate it against a known thermometer.
