TTP229 16-way Capacitive Touch Switch Module

The TTP229 16-way Capacitive Touch Switch module is a touch keypad built around the TTP229 capacitive touch IC. Instead of mechanical buttons it has 16 touch pads that react to a finger, so there are no moving parts to wear out. It connects to an Arduino, ESP32 or other microcontroller with only two signal wires plus power.

Tip: Many boards start in 8-key mode, so bridge the 16-key option pad (often marked TP2) before use, then read the keys with a TTP229 library. The IC calibrates itself at power-up, so keep fingers off the pads while the board starts.
