2 x AA Battery Holder Box (Back-to- Back)

The 2 x AA Battery Holder Box holds two AA batteries back to back, one on each side of the holder, which makes it shorter and more compact than a side-by-side holder. The two cells are connected in series to give about 3 V from alkaline batteries, delivered through wire leads ready to connect to your circuit. It is a simple, low-cost way to power small motors, LEDs, buzzers and other low-voltage projects.

Tip: Follow the + and − marks inside the holder when fitting the batteries. 3 V is too low for the barrel jack or VIN pin of an Arduino Uno, so use this holder for 3 V loads, or add a boost converter if your project needs 5 V.
