2 x AA Battery Holder Box, Without Cover

The 2 x AA Battery Holder Box holds two AA cells connected in series to give a 3 V supply for small electronics. This version has no cover, so the batteries are easy to swap and the holder stays compact and light. Tip: Check polarity before connecting: the red lead is normally positive (+) and the black lead negative (−). Two AA cells give only 3 V, which is not enough for 5 V boards such as the Arduino Uno; for those, add a boost converter or use a suitable regulated supply.
