3 x AA Battery Holder Box, Without Cover

The 3 x AA Battery Holder Box is an open battery holder, without a cover, that takes three AA cells connected in series. With alkaline batteries it supplies about 4.5 V, or about 3.6 V with rechargeable NiMH cells, which makes it a handy portable power source for small motors, LED projects, toys and other low-voltage circuits.

Tip: Insert the cells with the flat (negative) end against the spring, following the marks in each slot. The pack gives about 4.5 V, which is too high for 3.3 V boards such as the ESP32, so use a regulator for those, and check the lead polarity with a multimeter before connecting.
