4 x AA Battery Holder Box (Back-to- Back)

The 4 x AA Battery Holder Box holds four AA cells in a compact back-to-back layout, with two cells on each side. The cells are connected in series to give about 6 V with alkaline batteries or about 4.8 V with NiMH rechargeables, a handy supply for small robots, motors, servos and toys.

Tip: Fit each cell following the + and − marks; one reversed cell lowers the voltage and drains the others. About 6 V is below the 7 V to 12 V recommended for the Arduino Uno barrel jack, so this pack works best for motors, servos and other 5 V to 6 V loads.
